Never too young to shop

I decided it’s time to pack up the girls & go out for our 1st official solo outing to see what it’s all about & start learning from my mistakes! (& maybe snag some post-Xmas steals) It worked out beautifully…Arrive to IKEA around 11:15 after Alizea loudly & proudly calls out the letters as the building comes in sight. I can’t hold back a proud smirk as I hear my daughter who has struggled to communicate now showing early signs of reading!!! Standing outside the mommy van, I debated for quite some time on how to transport baby #1 and baby #2 into and through store, leaving extra room and a free hand for shopping items ;) The double stroller wins the long thought-process, but A decides to hold my hand and burn some energy walking to start out! We pa-rooze leisurely and I bribe A with the excitement of the children section to keep her momentum moving forward! The bribe then shifts to an ice cream cone to inch my way to the glorious self check-out, toddler's hand in mine, double stroller in the other filled with organizers and fun accessories for A's new room (oh and a sleeping newborn). We cooled off (this was a serious work-out folks) with that promised ice cream cone while I nursed G. Then back to the mommy van to unload.  As I drove off, I turned around to see 2 sleeping angels. Pure Success!

After naps...A can't get enough of her new baby sister!
